Cottage Cheese and Herb Bread
for the Bread Machine

Make sure all of the ingredients are at room Temperature before beginning. You will be using the Sweet cycle on your machine if you have one.
Delayed timer is not recommended.

1 cup cottage cheese
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter
4-6 ounces water
3 1/4 cups bread flour
3-4 tablespoons chopped fine chives
1-2 tablespoons chopped fine basil
2 tablespoons sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

Measuring carefully add all ingredients to the bread pan.
This will usually be in the order given, but follow your manufacturers suggestions about adding wet and dry ingredients.
Select the sweet setting and a medium crust setting in this case.
Time to push the start button and wait.
Take care to check on the mixing process after the first few minutes. You may need to add a bit of water or a bit of flour to get the right consistency.
The measurements for the herbs are dependent on whether you are using fresh or dried. Use more for fresh herbs.
